The Biebers have returned to Los Angeles from Canada, where they had originally been quarantining, and they dressed for the California sunshine. The two were photographed out playing basketball on Memorial Day weekend, channeling Malibu Barbie and Ken. Hailey Baldwin wore a pink two piece with giant hoop earrings, sunglasses, and her hair up in a ponytail. Bieber, meanwhile, evoked tattooed shirtless Ken vibes in pink shorts, Calvin Klein undies peeking out, and his blond hair parted to the side.
The couple has been doing a Facebook Watch series, which has three episodes weekly. They took questions from fans during Friday’s Facebook Live episode. The two discussed the moment they knew they were falling in love with each other.
Baldwin admitted she didn’t quite remember hers. “I remember the first time you said you were in love with me, but I don’t remember when I was like oh yeah he’s the one for sure,” she said. “I also think that I was really stubborn…I would never admit to his face that I was in love with him until it was obvious,” she added.
Bieber said he fell more gradually for Baldwin. “I think just time, being around each other… I just started realizing more and more qualities I liked about you and more things that were just so endearing,” he told her.
Baldwin also admitted their first kiss happened on a date she snuck out on. “He asked me to go get sushi with him, and I called my parents to ask them if I could go and they said no,” she said. “They were like absolutely not, you’re not going to hang out with Justin by yourself, that’s not happening. My older sister kind of covered for me and was like, ‘Oh yeah, she’s gonna sleep over at my apartment and it’s all good’…she covered for me and we went to dinner and didn’t get caught.”
