Jennifer Lopez Spent Thanksgiving With Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spent their first major holiday together since reuniting as a couple, celebrating Thanksgiving in Los Angeles. They were joined by her kids, twins Max and Emme, who she had with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez flew in from British Columbia where she’d been filming Netflix thriller The Mother. An insider told People that she was relieved to be back with her boyfriend and family.

“Jennifer flew back to L.A. from Vancouver to celebrate Thanksgiving with her kids and Ben,” said the source. “The last few weeks have been intense for her.”

They added, “It’s been hard for her to be away from her kids and Ben. She is very much looking forward to a short break.”

Before her return, J.Lo posted a story to Instagram Reels talking about gratitude.

“Hey everybody, it’s my last day here shooting on The Mother out in Smithers in the snow, it’s been beautiful, but tonight I’m on my way home,” she said. “I’m so excited for Thanksgiving! I hope everybody has an amazing weekend with their families and their loved ones, there’s so much to be grateful for this year. I’m on my way!”

Affleck also made time to spend with his three children on Thursday, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9, who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Though Lopez and Affleck’s schedules are hectic and they have a lot of family to attend to, the source said their relationship is going strong.

“They are doing really well. Jennifer loves being with Ben. She feels it’s truly meant to be,” they said.

In the fall, a separate source told People that they are planning for a shared Christmas as well, one that works for their children, as well.

“For Jennifer, Christmas is all about the kids. She makes it very special for them. She loves Christmas,” they said. “This year, it will take some more planning since Ben wants to be with his kids too.”
