Jennifer Aniston started award season is an elegant black Dior haute couture gown at the Golden Globes. For her second show this season, she went for the opposite end of the color spectrum. The actress wore silk white dress to the Screen Actors Guild Awards tonight in Los Angeles. It had a bridal look to it. Aniston, of course, is a nominee for her work in The Morning Show. She has an Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series nomination.
Tonight, Aniston could again cross paths with her ex-husband turned friend Brad Pitt. He is also nominated this evening, for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Aniston spoke in Harper’s BAZAAR’s June 2019 interview about where she stands on dating…or at least, where she stood then. It is not high priority: “Am I on OkCupid? No,” she said. “I have zero time, to be honest. My focus has been on the show, so dating has not been one of my first priorities. I feel like whatever [romance] looks like, it will present itself, and it’s not about seeking it out, you know?”
With love generally, she says, “when it comes knocking, it’s going to be welcomed,” Aniston said. “I’m not like, ‘No, I’m done with that. That’s never going to happen again.’ My time on this planet has been about…It hasn’t looked a certain way. It’s my way; it’s what I’ve been given this round. But I would say I don’t find any of my past has given me a reason to harden up and create a shell or a wall of, ‘No more, that’s it, I’m closed.'”
