The Morning Show actress and Screen Actors Guild winner arrived at Netflix’s Oscar after party with her Friends co-star Courteney Cox, wearing a short black dress. It’s simple but simultaneously one of her sexiest looks from all of awards season.
Could a reunion with her ex-husband turned good friend Brad Pitt have happened? Pitt wasn’t photographed at the Netflix after party, but he was out after the Academy Awards, so it’s possible the two met up privately. (He was photographed at the Governors Ball and Vanity Fair after party.) He won Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars.
Aniston and Pitt had their big awards season public meeting backstage at the SAG Awards, where she spoke glowingly of Pitt’s support for her career in an interview with Entertainment Tonight about her SAG victory. (Pitt was filmed attentively watching Aniston’s speech backstage after his win.)
“It means everything, we all grew up together, this whole room,” Aniston said. “That’s why their performances just move me and excite me and allow me to be here. It’s fantastic. We’re part of a community together and now we get to get back to work. We’re up at 4 and we’re there for 16 hours and we rinse and repeat, and it’s a lot of work so it’s nice to have a night where you get to dress up and celebrate each other and go back to the hair and makeup truck, learn your monologues.”
A source told People shortly after the SAG reunion that broke the internet that Aniston only sees Pitt as a friend. “[She] is not dating Brad,” the source said. “They are friends and happy for each other. They want nothing but happiness for each other. She is happy to have Brad back in her life as a friend, but that’s it.”
