A source gave rare insight to Entertainment Tonight about how they’re doing and their hopes for the future. Perry and Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019 after dating on-off for three years. The coronavirus pandemic led them to put wedding planning on hold.
As a couple though, Perry and Bloom are going as strong as ever—and thinking about growing their family. “Katy and Orlando are so happy,” the source said. “They’re doing very well as a couple and have gotten into a great groove. They want to expand their family. They’re both super supportive of each other’s careers and love parenting together.”
Perry spoke glowingly about Bloom as a partner and father in September during her speech at Variety’s Power of Women event. “To my beloved partner and constant iron sharpener, whether I like it or not, Orlando, a man that is a friend and an ally to all around the world, thank you for handling the insanity of my life with such loving grace,” she told him. “And biggest thank you of all for being an incredible father, an example to our greatest gift ever, our daughter, Daisy Dove.”
Bloom shared an adoring birthday post to Perry in October for her 37th birthday. “We do life we do love and it’s fun,” he wrote to her. “I’ll celebrate you today and everyday. 🎂🥳✨I love you. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️”
