On Saturday, January 15, Euphoria co-stars Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike were photographed in West Hollywood holding hands as they left Nice Guy restaurant together. The photos have got fans super excited about their possible romance. Rumors of them hanging out together have appeared on gossip site Deux Moi, who claimed Shafer was seen backstage at one of Fike’s shows, and another fan claimed to have seen them they “kissing and dancing” at Nice Guy while surrounded by other big name stars.
The potential couple were both dress casually, with Schafer in a white hoodie underneath a black zip-up jacket, patterned shorts, and a pair of signature white sneakers. She was wearing a red face covering and had her blonde hair up. Fike wore a beige-and black striped sweater and dark slacks over black boots. He accessorized with a few pieces of simple jewelry.
Fike plays a new character on the show in season 2 named Elliot, who meets Rue (Zendaya) at a New Year’s Eve party in a harrowing scene where she nearly overdoses. Shafer is returning as Rue’s love interest Jules Vaughn. In the second episode of the season, which aired Sunday night, it seems like Elliot will be playing a bigger part in Rue’s storyline and possibly even become a threat to her relationship with Jules.
In the past, Shafer has been linked to model Massima Dee, though they never confirmed they were in a relationship. Fike has been in a relationship with social media personality Shelby Tangorra, and Booksmart’s Diana Silvers. Fike talked very openly about his relationship with Silvers, telling GQ that it was “full-blown.”
“On our first date, we talked about Paul McCartney, and I hadn’t talked about Paul in so long or The Beatles,” he said. “It kind of manifested the Paul feature. I was trying to make stuff to impress her and work with people that she had heard of.”
Neither Fike nor Shafer have confirmed that they’re in a relationship, but we’ll be keeping an eye on Instagram.
