Here Are the Details on Meghan Markle’s Reported Appearances on a TV Show About Second Weddings

Meghan Markle is stepping back from royal life. Since that news broke, rumors have been swirling about whether she will enter into a TV career again. Although she already did a voiceover deal with Disney, there had been no word on whether she was zeroing in on any other TV work.

On Saturday, Page Six reported that Meghan will be periodically appearing on the new Canadian Netflix show, I Do, Redo. A palace source told People that the New York Post report is “categorically untrue.”

CTV, who partnered with Netflix for the show tweeted that the duchess will not be appearing on the show.

As confirmed to @PageSix yesterday, the Duchess of Sussex does not appear in upcoming @CTV series I Do, Redo.

Page Six originally reported that the guest spots would be “sporadic” and did not provide any details on when and exactly how often she would be showing up on the show. Meghan and Harry are now financially independent from the royal family, though Prince Charles will help fund them temporarily. But it doesn’t look like Meghan will be making Netflix money—at least not from this show.

Meghan’s friend stylist Jessica Mulroney, will, however, still be on the show.

“When I believe in something, I go after it at full speed, and I’m blessed to be able to create a show that truly inspires me,” she said in a press release. “We are aiming to make a significant difference in the lives of our chosen couples whose first weddings did not go as planned due to tragic circumstances. This is a side of the wedding industry that has never been shown on television before.”
