Gigi Hadid Revealed Khai’s Tie-Dyed Onesies Made For Her at Her Shower

This weekend, Gigi Hadid revealed on her Instagram Story that her daughter, Khai, has a collection of tie-dyed onesies made by her parents’ friends at her shower last summer.

“For our lockdown “baby shower ” last summer, we did tie-dye-onsie in a box,” she wrote. “These are just some…but she has so many keepsakes from loved ones, sized NB-18 mo. They’re all signed by their maker so she knows when she’s older :),” the proud mom wrote, after posting that she was having an “organizing day” in Khai’s room. “She’s growing so fast,” she added.

Hadid and her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, welcomed Khai late last September.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Malik tweeted, “to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

In an interview with Vogue in February, Hadid spoke about her 14-hour labor with Khai in Pennsylvania. She shared that she had originally planned to give birth to Khai in a New York City hospital but COVID restrictions meant her mom, Yolanda, and her sister, Bella, couldn’t be in the room with her, so she opted for a home birth.

She spoke about her choice not to receive an epidural: “I had to dig deep. I knew it was going to be the craziest pain in my life, but you have to surrender to it and be like, ‘This is what it is.’ I loved that. There definitely was a point where I was like, I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different. My midwife looked at me and was like, ‘You’re doing it. No one can help you. You’re past the point of the epidural anyway, so you’d be pushing exactly the same way in a hospital bed.'”

Hadid rarely shares personal insight into her baby’s life, but in March, she shared a rare look at Khai’s style: a photo of star-decorated pants and a pink sweater with a bunny-ears hood.

She’s got good style, that kid.
