Duchess Meghan Looks Radiant in This Emerald Green Dress

Duchess Meghan is using her platform to speak out on women’s empowerment.

Yesterday, the Duchess of Sussex took part in a moderated discussion at a sold-out event for the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a nonprofit that leverages community leadership and funding in support of creating transformative societal change for women. Meghan took to the stage with Rabbi Sandy Sasso, a religious leader and children’s book author, to talk about the importance of supporting young girls.

For the occasion, the duchess looked elegant in an emerald green midi dress by Giorgio Armani, featuring a twisted neckline and a keyhole cutout. She paired the dress with violet suede pumps from Manolo Blahnik, an emerald gold encrusted necklace by Logan Hollowell, a gold ring from Tabayer, and stud earrings.

"Women’s Fund of Central Indiana believes in the force of women’s voices, women’s experiences and women’s work," the organization’s advisory board chair, Tavonna Harris Askew, said, per Indianapolis Recorder. "We know that Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex does, too. We are honored that she will join us on this special evening to celebrate our common cause—the power of women."

Ahead of the event, Women’s Fund released a statement on its website that read, "Women’s Fund is proud to welcome Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, to Indianapolis. The Duchess is a mother, feminist and champion of human rights. She is a lifelong advocate for women and girls, a constant thread she weaves through humanitarian and business ventures."

In previous events, Women’s Fund hosted notable guests like Michelle Obama, Brooke Shields, Andrea Jung, and Soledad O’Brien. Back in 2015, the White House and the Clinton Global Initiative recognized the organization for its leadership on disrupting the cycles of poverty for women and creating sustainable solutions.
