Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are officially parents together. Schwarzenegger gave birth to their first child, her brother Patrick Schwarzenegger confirmed in a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight. The outlet reports he showed off a present tied with a pink ribbon and said, “They’re doing great—just got her a little gift.” A source told ET that Pratt’s car was seen at the hospital on Friday afternoon, although the baby’s birth date and name haven’t been revealed yet. This is Pratt’s second child. He and his ex-wife Anna Faris share seven-year-old son Jack Pratt.
Pratt and Schwarzenegger kept their pregnancy news largely off social media. But in June, a source did speak to Entertainment Tonight about how the couple was doing toward the end of Schwarzenegger’s pregnancy on their first wedding anniversary. “Chris and Katherine have had an incredible first year of marriage,” the source said. “The couple plans to celebrate their first wedding anniversary today with something small as their baby is set to arrive soon.”
“Chris and Katherine are thankful for their alone time recently as it has allowed them to enjoy the pregnancy together, giving them a forced sense of time to relax and prepare,” the source continued. “They know their baby is coming soon and can’t wait to welcome their new addition.”
Pratt has been vocal about his hope to start a family with Schwarzenegger. In January 2019, in his first interview after he announced his engagement to Schwarzenegger, Pratt spoke about wanting a big family with her. “[What I see in] the future? Oh. Lots of kids,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Maybe less time spent working, more time spent enjoying life…I always want to be that guy that works to live, not lives to work. I think [I want to spend] just a lot of time at the farm and a lot of time catching a lot of fish and seeing lots of sunsets.”
