Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are back to their usual social media shenanigans.
The couple had a hilarious misunderstanding on Instagram after the Deadpool actor shared a festive photo of the two meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. In the snap, Lively, who is pregnant with their fourth child, brings the holiday spirit by wearing themed pajamas: a red, green, and white set layered under a pink bath robe. Meanwhile, Reynolds looked casual in a gray crewneck and a blue beanie.
"We met Jessica Claus and her husband on the Polar Express," Reynolds wrote in the caption. "She was everything I’d always dreamed since I was a kid. She smelled like cinnamon buns and sangria. ?"
However, the post didn’t please the Gossip Girl alum—and she made sure to let her disapproval be known publicly.

"My. Shoes ?," Lively commented, referring to the fact that her husband cropped her shoes out of the frame.
In response, Reynolds re-posted the full photo to his Instagram Story, now revealing his wife’s sparkling silver sneakers. He accompanied the post with a note, adding, "I cropped my wife’s shoes out in the photo I posted. It’s inexcusable and I’m sorry to anyone I’ve hurt with this callous lack of fortitude. Heading to the hospital to have my brain weighed."
Lively announced her pregnancy by debuting her baby bump at the 10th annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit in September. The couple are already parents to three daughters: seven-year-old James, six-year-old Inez, and three-year-old Betty.
