It was mere days ago that the world contended with the possibility that actors Bill Hader and Rachel Bilson might have joined forces to become one of the most enviable couples of 2020. In late December, TMZ posted a photo of the two getting coffee in Hader’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, reporting that they met Hader’s family and held hands. (They also went to Ralph’s together and bought two cases of La Croix, which, of course.)
But no need for any more questions. Hader and Bilson just walked the 2020 Golden Globes red carpet together, making their couple debut and making it clear they are most definitely a Thing.
There have actually been rumors about the two dating back to November when they were photographer together in L.A., according to Us Weekly. Hader and Bilson appeared in 2013’s The To Do List together, which was directed by Maggie Carey, Hader’s now-ex wife as of 2017. (Bilson also separated from her husband Hayden Christensen in 2017.)
In September, Bilson also sparked rumors that she was dating The Bachelor’s Nick Viall. At the time, Bilson was on his podcast, Viall Files, where she spoke about the balance of dating while raising a five-year-old daughter: “She has not met anyone as of yet, and it would have to be someone I know I’m going to be with. It would have to be a very serious relationship… If you’re going to pursue something with someone, they have to be interested in the kid or be willing to be around the kid or babysit the kid, kidding. All the things.”
While this red carpet debut is enough to celebrate, the pair might be walking away with an award tonight as well. Hader is nominated at this year’s Golden Globes for best performance by an actor in a musical or comedy television series for his work as the titular character on Barry.
