Beyoncé opted to grace the Golden Globes with her presence this year but sneakily. She did not walk the red carpet, but she was filmed and photographed during the ceremony, wearing a gold-sleeved dress alongside her husband Jay-Z. The singer has one nomination at the show tonight for Best Original Song – Motion Picture—her The Lion King track “Spirit” is nominated, and it’s the reason she’s there.

Interestingly, Beyoncé is competing against Taylor Swift in the category. Swift is nominated for her Cats track, “Beautiful Ghosts,” which she co-wrote with Andrew Lloyd Weber. Swift is in the audience too, wearing an Etro dress.
Beyoncé hasn’t been at the Golden Globes in over 10 years. She last attended in 2009 and wore a stunning strapless white dress embellished with silver sequins:
Beyoncé is an outfit of the day queen on Instagram though, and she gave her fans a generous look at her holiday attire last week. That animal print dress got icon status thanks to Bey wearing it like the top Insta model she is.
Beyoncé did a rare interview with ELLE this month where she answered fan questions, including one about what she does with all her outfits after she wears them.
“I think it’s important to have great basics that you can wear again and again,” Bey started. “Versatility is a big part of the IVY PARK line and what inspires me. You can create your own style by experimenting and taking chances and continually reinventing your look with all of these pieces. I also donate my personal clothes to great charities that support women getting back on their feet.
