Amal Clooney is always sure to up the ante during date night with husband George Clooney, and their attendance at this weekend’s Kennedy Center Honors was no exception.
On Sunday night, the couple stepped out for the star-studded event, where the Ticket to Paradise actor received honors for his contributions to American culture alongside other industry greats like Gladys Knight, Bono, Tania Léon, and Amy Grant.
For the occasion, the human rights lawyer wore a breathtaking off-the-shoulder gown from Valentino. Sparkling silver sequins embellished the dress all over. She coordinated the silver with her accessories, opting for a glittering silver clutch and diamond drop earrings and a bracelet cuff.
Meanwhile, George looked suave in a classic black tux.

During a special predinner for the honorees, Amal stunned in yet another off-the-shoulder Valentino piece. This time, the dress came in a red-hot hue and additionally featured a dramatic, flowing cape train. She paired the look with a matching red clutch and more diamond jewelry.
The U.N. Goodwill Ambassador previously opened up about her life with George raising their five-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander Clooney, in a March interview with TIME.
"Marriage has been wonderful. I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter," she told the magazine. "It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother—this is how I get my balance."
