I don’t wear a ton of makeup on a regular basis—I’m consistently a no-makeup-makeup kind of girl—but what I use to remove my long-wearing mascara, brow pencil, blush, and concealer is just as important to me as my minimalist rotation of products.

Although I swear by my holy grail makeup favorites, most beauty enthusiasts can agree that any great look starts with a consistent skin care routine, especially one that’s equal parts effective, quick, and easy. I’ve kept a top-rated cleansing oil in my regimen for years, alongside my go-to face wash, to ensure thorough product removal by way of the double cleanse.

Though I appreciate the deep-clean result I get from my tried-and-true removal process (as does my pillowcase and finicky combination skin), tacking on an extra skin care step at the end of the day sometimes feels like a chore—which is why I’m over the moon about EADEM’s new Dew Dream Cleansing Balm.

Unlike other cleansers I’ve tried before, this jelly-to-oil-to-milk formula washes away lingering makeup, dirt, and oil in one fell swoop, and even passes the towel wipe test for residue when I dry my face. The balm’s bouncy texture doesn’t feel filmy or sticky on my skin—plus, it has a subtle, uplifting lemon scent that I love.

After massaging it over my face for 60 seconds per the product’s instructions, a simple rinse is all that’s needed for a completely refreshed complexion. Plus, I can keep my eyes open while applying the balm without fear of burning or irritation—it’s that gentle. And just like many of my beloved oil cleansers, the Dew Dream doesn’t leave my face feeling tight or dry after using it. It combines a blend of ingredients like tiger grass, allantoin, Kalahari melon, and moringa to nourish skin while minimizing hyperpigmentation—a bonus of all EADEM products.
