Kendall Jenner dressed like a true supermodel at her friend Lauren Perez’s wedding yesterday, wearing the kind of attention-grabbing black multi-cutout dress few would to a nuptial. The model shared multiple posts on her Instagram Story of her posing in it alongside her friends and fellow guests Hailey Bieber and Bella Hadid.

Jenner spoke to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia in February 2020 about her personal style icons. “My grandmother MJ and my mom!” she said. “A lot of my inspiration for style I find online and from my friends or people I surround myself with. I’ve found Tumblr is also a great place to go for style inspiration as well.”
She weighed in on how she sees social media and authenticity too. On social media, Jenner said she sees its professional value above all: “I think social media is important for your career, but at the same time giving yourself a chance to take a break from it is equally important,” she said. “A gift and a curse, it’s beneficial to many careers as it gives you a platform but can also be a dangerous game if you are looking to social media for validation. I support social media as long as it is used in a healthy way.”
And on what authenticity means to her, she said, “I always want to encourage people to be the best version of themselves and be true to who they are. I never want anyone to feel like they have to be something or someone they aren’t. Authenticity is about being real and genuine, being different is what makes us all individuals and that’s what makes us unique in our own way. Parents instill morals in their children but I do I feel responsible for being the best version of myself and putting that out there. The important part is learning from your mistakes and growing from them.”
