Celebrities breaking into the beauty industry is not uncommon these days. Stars like Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, and Selena Gomez (to name just a few!) have proven that a successful beauty brand is possible. We’re living in the age of celebrity beauty brands, and the product lines are thriving. So it makes sense that Grammy winner Cardi B would throw her beauty brush into the ring. The rapper just made money moves to file a beauty trademark for a brand called “Bardi Beauty.”
And while we don’t have all the details yet (Is a WAP facial mist coming?), here’s everything we know so far about the star’s latest business venture.
Cardi B’s company Washpoppin Inc. filed for a trademark.
TMZ reported that Cardi’s company Washpoppin Inc. has officially filed legal documents to trademark “Bardi Beauty.” According to legal documents, the brand will sell glam products, including makeup, fragrances, haircare, skincare, and nail products, all aspects for making a beauty empire. The rapper wants to create products that seemingly match her style, which screams “the fabulous life,” per TMZ.
The rapper has been working on her beauty line since 2019.
In a 2019 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cardi was asked whether she was launching a makeup line. She responded by saying that beauty is “something that I want to do.” She added that she plans to release her beauty line “very” soon.

Cardi nor her team have yet to publicly speak on “Bardi Beauty” or when the beauty brand is set to launch.
Her fans are very much excited.
As the news broke, Bardi Gang (Cardi’s fan base) went into a frenzy. They took to Twitter to share how excited they were for the rapper.
