Designer Joseph Altuzurra has been a mainstay in the fashion world since launching his eponymous women’s line in 2008. In recent years, he’s also taken an interest in grooming, skin care, and wellness.
In this episode of Go to Bed with Me, Altuzarra, who dealt with severe breakouts in his teenage years, breaks down his nighttime routine for keeping his combination skin hydrated and blemish-free.

Altuzarra starts off his routine using Tata Harper’s Regenerating Exfoliating Cleanser. “I love that a) this smells really delicious,” he says. “And b) that it is an exfoliating cleanser but the exfoliating part is not too aggressive. I think I went through this phase in my 20s where I thought the harder you scrubbed, the better your skin would be. But actually, my skin kind of got worse.”
After using the cleanser, the designer applies Tata Harper’s Resurfacing BHA Glow Mask, which he says keeps skin “nourished and hydrated.” While he lets those two products sit on his face for 10 minutes, Altuzarra applies Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Mask.
Next, he uses SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence. “It made the texture of my skin a lot better,” he divulges. “It’s kind of calming too.”
