Instagram’s Live feature is nothing new, but amid the coronavirus outbreak, celebrities have been using it daily to keep us entertained. There’s DJ D-Nice’s virtual Club Quarantine—which saw guest appearances from Rihanna, Michelle Obama, and Oprah—Miley Cyrus’s talk-show Bright Minded, and most recently, Diddy’s Team Love Dance-A-Thon, which raises money for frontline workers.
Diddy hosted the first edition this past Sunday, April 12, and tos of celebrities called in to show their support for healthcare workers, including Drake, Naomi Campbell, Ciara, Demi Lovato and more. But the biggest surprise of the night was when Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called into the virtual dance party.
“I probably taught you that,” J. Lo jokingly said to her ex-boyfriend Diddy during the livestream as the pair danced to Elvis Crespo’s “Suavemente.”

At one point during the livestream, A. Rod joined J. Lo as Diddy’s sons joined his live and danced to Diddy’s 1997 cut “Been Around the World,” proving that there’s no bad blood between the two, even 19 years later. The pair started dated in 1999 and later broke up in 2001. It was also around this time, 2000 to be exact, that J. Lo wore her infamous tropical print Versace dress to the 2000 Grammys.
“I love you guys. I can’t wait until we can see each other again. May God bless y’all and I just love you guys,” Diddy told J. Lo and A. Rod at the end of their dance session. His dance marathon helped raised over $3 million and will continue to accept donations at teamlove.com.
