It’s really, finally February, and Valentine’s Day is next Friday. But Kate Middleton is ready to celebrate 10 days early. The Duchess of Cambridge just arrived with Prince William in Mumbles and Port Talbot, dressed in a festive red heart scarf and double-breasted Hobbs London coat. She wore a red outfit underneath and carried a red clutch.
The couple are out today to “visit organizations and businesses at the heart of the local communities,” Kensington Palace announced ahead of their visit.
William also dressed in a polished but cozy look. He wore a black suit jacket, light blue button-up, and green sweater with dark pants. The two posed together while at Mumbles Pier, the first stop on their afternoon of engagements. They even showed minimal PDA, with Kate touching William’s shoulder.
The two’s appearance comes two days after the couple attended the BAFTAs. Kate rewore her Alexander McQueen white and gold dress. But the couple especially made headlines for the way they reacted to Brad Pitt’s joke, delivered by Margot Robbie since Pitt couldn’t attend the ceremony, about Prince Harry leaving England. (Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal family roles last month and announced their intention to split their time living in the UK and North America. The two have now been in Canada.)
Robbie said, on behalf of Pitt, “He’s gonna name this [BAFTA] Harry, because he’s really excited about bringing it back to the States with him. His words, not mine, thanks!”
The camera cut to Kate and William in the audience, who appeared just laughing at the joke.
