Blake Lively is on a press tour and ready to talk about baby #3…just not her name yet. The actress appeared on the Tonight Show last night, where she gave Jimmy Fallon the full details on how her two older daughters James, 5, and Inez, 3, are coping with having a little sister. James loves it. Inez is not nearly as into being a middle child.
“I sure did [have another baby],” Lively started when asked about her recent third addition. “I have so many children! Yeah, it’s a bit of a tough adjustment in our house, but it’s good. I have two other daughters so my oldest is very into the baby, but my middle child not so much, but we’re thinking of keeping her,” Lively joked.
Fallon asked whether Inez plays with the baby. “She sort of like pretends to play with her so like in the beginning, our oldest is loving on her, and she’s like very maternal and then our middle daughter is just like, [she] keeps away from her,” Lively said. “And then I said to her, I said, ‘you know, you’re going to teach her everything she knows. You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse, anything you want.’ And she goes, ‘oh, I didn’t love you, but now I do.’ And I’m like, oh my god, are you speaking like Jennifer Aniston in Friends? Just like ‘cute little thing’.”
Lively additionally revealed that while James loves her baby sister, she remains super starstruck and intimidated by Fallon. “She’s like buddies with Taylor Swift, no problem. Jimmy Fallon, she can’t speak,” Lively quipped.
