Kate Middleton Wears Blue Coat With Jeans and Ankle Boots for London Nursery Visit

The Duchess of Cambridge has been working everyday this week, and this morning in London, she stepped out in her most casual ensemble yet. Kate Middleton visited LEYF Stockwell Gardens Nursery & Pre-School in the city, dressed in a vibrant blue coat with a white blouse, black skinny jeans, and black ankle boots. She wore her hair down and accessorized with delicate dangle earrings.

Inside, Kate had a blast serving breakfast with the kids:

Kate appeared today in part to promote her 5 Big Questions survey she launched earlier this month for parents in the UK. Kensington Palace announced the results of the survey would help guide Kate’s work in early childhood development and mental health.

Kate said in a statement, “Parents, carers and families are at the heart of caring for children in the formative years, so that is why I want to listen to them. As a parent I know how much we cherish the future health and happiness of our children. I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most. My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has been meeting parents and children across England in support of the initiative. She started by visiting them in Birmingham, then went on to meet more families in Cardiff. Royal reporters announced Kate was doing a 24 hour tour of the country, which also included stops in London and Surrey.

Kate was previously out this week for a visit to Evelina London Children’s Hospital (where she rewore her Dolce & Gabbana tweed skirt suit) on Tuesday and to attend the UK Holocaust Memorial Ceremony on Monday. She rewore a gray Catherine Walker coat dress for then.
