Filming for the film Star Wars: Starfighter has begun, and Ryan Gosling will play one of the main roles in the film, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
Sean Levy has been appointed as the director of the new Star Wars film. He posted the first photo from the set on Instagram, showing Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray posing against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

Details of the film's plot are still unknown, but the publication notes that its action will take place approximately five years after the events of the last film in the franchise, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”

Matt Smith, Mia Gott, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, and Amy Adams also joined the cast. The film was written by Jonathan Tropper.
“This script is actually just incredible. It has a great story with original and vibrant characters,” Ryan Gosling previously shared.
