A special feature of the Care Kit bag is the attachment for a tourniquet and an enclosed certified tourniquet from the Ukrainian manufacturer SICH. Thanks to this, an everyday accessory turns into a gesture of caring for yourself and your neighbor, so that if necessary, you can save yourself and save yourself. The socially important initiative of the keep® brand in collaboration with the first and only community of women with combat experience in Ukraine VETERANKA and the team of the film “Cuba & Alaska” is a manifesto for saving lives on the front line and in the rear. With an appeal to Ukrainian society in today's realities of war to remember what is important.
Sisters of the VETERANKA movement, servicemen of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, combat medics with the call signs “Kuba” and “Alaska” save the wounded on the front and know well how important it is to have a tourniquet at hand even in civilian life. After all, in the modern world, especially during a full-scale war in Ukraine, life can depend on what you carry with you.
“Care has a form, and it can be carried with you. Care during war is a turnstile in a bag, when every minute or even second is crucial for saving a life. For the sisters of our Movement of Cuba and Alaska, who became the main heroines of the film, this is a daily mission. They are the living embodiment of the phenomenon of Ukrainian women who voluntarily went to the front, left their usual life, their beloved job, and retrained as combat medics. With our initiative, we strive to call on civilians to be ready to act: this should become a conscious and responsible choice of every Ukrainian man and woman. The principle “whoever is ready is saved” must resonate in people’s hearts and be heard,” comments Kateryna Pryymak, head of the VETERANKA movement.
The bags became part of the collectible charity merchandise that the teams released on the eve of the film's release to support a large fundraiser. Therefore, they call on everyone who wants to support the power of sisterhood and join the fundraiser for Cuba and Alaska to purchase two ground evacuation “life capsules” Maul for the film's heroines' units.
