It isn’t very often that the British royal family is seen out in the wild—particularly Kate Middleton’s children—but royal watchers got a very adorable treat this week. Prince Louis, Kate and Prince William’s youngest son, was spotted at London’s Natural History Museum with his nanny this week. He was in a navy puffer coat, dark pants, and little Nike sneakers. The one-year-old was spending time in the dinosaur exhibit and got very excited looking at them.
Why wasn’t Kate with him? The Duchess of Cambridge has spent part of this week traveling. She launched her 5 Big Questions survey on Wednesday and visited children and parents in Birmingham, Cardiff, Surrey, and London as part of her 24-hour tour of the country.
“Parents, carers and families are at the heart of caring for children in the formative years, so that is why I want to listen to them,” Kate said in a statement on the launch of her survey. Early childhood development and children’s mental health have been two of Kate’s main issues that she has focused on as a duchess.
“As a parent I know how much we cherish the future health and happiness of our children. I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most. My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come.” Parents in the UK can take Kate’s survey here.
