The Barcelona-headquartered manufacturer and provider of beauty packaging solutions continues to expand its footprint in North America. After the opening of new testing capabilities last year at its facilities in Dallas, Texas, Quadpack is now expanding its Creative Hub service to North America.
Already established in Europe, Quadpack’s Creative Hub transversal team includes market researchers, designers and engineers working together with innovation partners in diverse areas of specialization. “It is an open innovation platform embracing the whole packaging eco-system,” explains Pierre-Antoine Henry, Director of Market Development at Quadpack.
Tailored presentations
American brands can now plug into the beauty packaging innovation process through dedicated teams in the US. Concretizing in themed roadshows and tailored presentations, Quadpack’s Creative Hub shows brands how new concepts can be adopted to help them deliver on their claims. The first US roadshow was held in May, focused on cosmeceuticals.
“It was a resounding success, giving us some great feedback on over 20 brand new concepts. We are excited to share this capability with our key clients and help them stay ahead in the game. We encourage them to challenge us and see the magic that comes out of it,” said Anthony Le Minoux, Vice President of Quadpack Americas.
Local partnerships
Employing about 30 staffs in its North American offices in Dallas, Texas, Quadpack offers North American beauty brands with stocking, testing, decoration and assembly services and operates the InStockPack e-commerce site.
Working alongside its European counterparts, the US team is also establishing new partnerships in the Americas, in particular in order to offer local production options. Most recently, Quadpack installed molds at a partner manufacturer in Connecticut in order to produce airless in the USA.
Chantecaille’s gold-infused serum
Beiersdorf’s North American beauty brand Chantecaille selected Quadpack to develop a packaging solution that combined accurate dosage, comfortable usage and luxe aesthetics for their 24K Gold Serum Intense. Retailing at USD 420, the formula features a cocktail of 24k gold and Vitamin C, with peptides, botanicals and hyaluronic acid.
“The Skin-Up Bottle with Dropper was a perfect match, treated with a premium finish to reflect the precious formula within,” Quadpack explains. “The Skin-Up’s dropper ensures not a single one is wasted. Its controlled dosage delivery system automatically loads a single dose when the cap is twisted open. A push-button actuator then releases the product on the desired areas of the face. The targeted, mess-free application heightens the luxury experience for the consumer.”
According to the packaging provider, the 30ml bottle is made of perfumery-quality glass. The gold finish was achieved using a specialized process of vacuum metallization
