Adele was kind enough to take a moment during her January 3 vacation dinner with Harry Styles in Anguilla to talk to a fan and candidly discuss how her life has been. Nineteen-year-old Elon University student Lexi Larson told People she noticed Harry Styles out at dinner, and they came over to her table.
“Adele came over and sat down next to me and my friend and was like, ‘So what can I do for you girls?’” Larson told the outlet. “We were so excited. We were talking to her for a little while, and then she got Harry Styles to come over and sit with us also. We took a picture with Harry, and we talked to them for 15 minutes probably.”
The two took an interest in Larson and her friends’ studies in college and career aspirations. Larson described it as “a really positive experience. It was really cool.”
Adele, who looked noticeably slimmer to Larson and in photos, spoke a little about how her life has changed to Larson. “She said she lost something like 100 pounds, and that it’s such a crazy positive experience,” the college student recounted. “She seemed so happy, and she looked amazing. She seemed really confident.”
People reported back in the fall that Adele is planning to release new music soon. “She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year,” a source close to Adele said in September 2019. “She talks about last year as a very difficult year, and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.”
