Larsa Pippen advised her followers to be wary of what they ‘see on social media,’ over a week after she was photographed holding hands with NBA player Malik Beasley.
Larsa Pippen, 46, shared a mysterious quote on Dec. 2. “Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar,” read the cryptic message on The Real Housewives of Miami alum’s Instagram Story. Although Larsa didn’t reveal what the quote was referring to, the former Bravo star posted the words nine days after she was photographed holding hands with Minnesota Timberwolves player Malik Beasley, 24, at a mall in Miami.

Malik’s wife, Montana Yao, 23 — who shares a home with the NBA star in Plymouth, Minnesota — shared a cryptic post of her own the day prior. “Wow, I don’t even know this man…this is wild y’all…I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all,” Montana had written on her Instagram Story on Dec. 1, after the photos of her husband with Larsa were released. It’s unclear if the model and former Miss Malibu Teen USA was referring to these pictures. HollywoodLife also can’t confirm if Larsa’s quote could’ve been referencing this message from Malik’s wife.

Montana had more to say on Dec. 1. “I always and will forever remain true to who I am and GOD has never let me down [praising hands emoji] the truth always comes out one way or another…Appreciate all the love y’all for real,” Montana wrote in a separate post on her Instagram Story. She also shared photos of her 20-month-old son Makai Joseph Beasley, whom Montana shares with Malik, and wrote “I got you” and “you got me” over the mother-son snapshots.

Although Montana didn’t specify who or what she was talking about, The Shade Room reposted all of her messages, leading fans to assume that the model was referring to the photos of Larsa and Malik. “Take his money and leave sweetheart,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while another wrote, “Tired of women getting their hearts broken on the internet. It already hurt in private, so publicly is worst.”
Larsa’s cryptic message also arrived after it was discovered that Malik had asked out Scotty Pippen‘s estranged wife on a date, before their shopping trip in Miami (where Larsa lives). On Nov. 16, Malik scrolled to a selfie that Larsa had shared on Oct. 24 and commented, “I just want to take you on a date and treat you like a queen.” HollywoodLife had previously reached out to Malik’s rep and team for comment after his pictures with Larsa were released.
