Emma Stone quietly welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband Dave McCary in mid-March, opting to keep her pregnancy and first weeks as a mother out of the public eye. But paparazzi photographed Stone for the first time since she became a parent over the weekend. The Cruella actress was snapped out on Saturday grabbing two Starbucks coffees in Pacific Palisades.
She wore a black crop top, multiple gold necklaces, light-wash jeans, and black sandals with a mask, sunglasses, and a black Louis Vuitton purse. (Stone is an ambassador for the fashion house). You can see more photos of her outing here via Daily Mail.
Stone hasn’t spoken about becoming a mother, but sources have talked to People and E! about Stone’s first parenthood experiences. At the end of March, a source close to Stone told People, “Emma and Dave have a great marriage and both wanted a child. They are a very grounded and private couple and were ready for a family.”
“Emma is close to her family and good friends but not the type to flaunt her personal life,” the source added. “Dave respects that about her and is the same way. They have a great life together and support each other.”
“She is a professional who loves and breathes her work,” the source continued. “But if anyone can be good at both, it is Emma. She is a gifted person in every way.”
At the beginning of April, a source close to Stone told E! that Stone had wanted to be a mother for a long time and is a “natural” at it just weeks in.
“Being pregnant and experiencing motherhood has been an incredible experience that she has loved,” the source said. “She couldn’t wait to meet the baby and it has been everything and more. They are thoroughly enjoying downtime at home and just being with the baby. They are adjusting well to being a family of three.”
“Dave is a great guy and she feels so lucky that she met him and that they get to do this together,” the source added. “He’s a great dad, very hands on and helping every step of the way.”
