Yves Rocher strengthens its solid offering with new cosmetics and perfumes

The French brand is strengthening its offering of zero-plastic solid cosmetics with two new items: a solid Face Scrub formulated without soap and sulphated surfactants, and a Conditioner Bar free from silicones. In addition, at the end of August, Yves Rocher will launch solid versions of its best-selling fragrances.

As many other beauty giants, Yves Rocher is tapping into the solid cosmetics segment, which seems to be gradually taking root in consumer routines.

Our collection of solid cosmetics has been developed with eco-design in mind and the ambition of offering more responsible beauty products, free from plastic waste, in order to reduce our environmental footprint,” explains Philippe Msika, Research Director Innovation & Development at Yves Rocher.

Two new beauty items

To complete its range of solid cosmetics launched in 2021, the brand is debuting two new beauty items in June: a first Solid Face Scrub, and a Conditioner Bar for all hair types.

Formulated without sulphated surfactants and without soap, the new Solid Face Scrub is infused with organic peppermint grown close to the brand’s historic in Brittany, France. 100% plant-based grains allow a gentle scrub while the 60% recycled cardboard packaging is fully recyclable, with zero plastic waste.

For its part, the new Conditioner Bar promises to nourish the hair for 72 hours, to detangle it and facilitate styling, with a formula that restores softness and shine without weighing it down. Easy to rinse, it is formulated without silicone, it is vegan, and infused with organic flower oils grown in Brittany.

A new range of solid perfumes

From August 21, 2023, four fragrances (Sur la Lande, Cuir de Nuit, Sel d’Azur, Plein Soleil) from the Pleines Natures fragrance collection will be available in solid versions. This new range is alcohol-free and is made of wax and vegetable oils. These solid fragrances, intended for intimate perfuming, can be combined with the corresponding Eau de Parfum, for a more intense sillage.

These new fragrances (13 g – EUR 17.90) are presented in a fully recyclable lightweight tin box, free from plastic.
