Handover at the helm of the French, independent family-owned perfume house. Christopher Sabater, 33, has been appointed as President and CEO of the company, succeeding his father François Patrick Sabater, who created and developed TechnicoFlor 44 years ago. His appointment has been effective since January 2, 2025.
Graduated in international trade from a business school, Christopher Sabater joined TechnicoFlor in 2015, during his final year of studies. After starting out in the subsidiary in China, in Shanghai, he had been in charge of the Middle East and Africa markets for 8 years from the Dubai office.
“My father and I have been working hand in hand for years. His innovative vision has always guided our strategic choices, and I am delighted to take over the reins of our family business with the same passion and commitment to continue writing our history, what’s more, alongside my brother Jérémy Sabater, Perfumer,” confides the young manager.
The new CEO wants to double TechnicoFlor’s turnover in the next five years, while increasing the number of production units from three to five, with plans to set up in India, the United States and Latin America.
Christopher Sabater also aims to intensify TechnicoFlor’s initiatives in terms of social and environmental responsibility. Furthermore, he wants to invest in artificial intelligence as a lever to broaden the horizons of the company’s creativity.
François Patrick Sabater remains a member of the Supervisory Board and retains the management of Holding API where he will continue to invest himself fully by concentrating his efforts on aromas and raw materials through the various subsidiaries.
