Italy’s ISEM Packaging Group has acquired Barcelona-based Egisa, a European leader in high-end folding carton manufacturing. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Through this new acquisition, ISEM Packaging Group strengthens its position in the perfume and cosmetic packaging segment, expanding production capabilities and expertise across multiple solutions.
ISEM said it will maintain the current production and organizational structure of Egisa, ensuring continuity for its employees, customers, and partners while fostering industrial and professional synergies.
Carlos Labori, CEO of Egisa, will maintain his role as CEO, ensuring continuity in leadership and contributing his extensive industry experience to ISEM’s strategic direction.

Additionally, ISEM and Egisa have agreed on a joint strategy to accelerate the development of sustainable packaging technologies and expand into new international markets, further reinforcing their shared ambition of becoming the benchmark in luxury packaging solutions.
A giant in secondary packaging for luxury brands
With the support of Peninsula Capital, ISEM Packaging Group has been pursuing an ambitious industrial integration strategy to become the first multinational fully integrated luxury packaging group, offering a 360° multi-product and multi-service proposal to its target markets.
The group now consists of six historic luxury packaging companies:
– ISEM, a European leader in luxury hard boxes for perfumery, cosmetics, and wines & spirits.
– Grafiche Bramucci (integrated in 2018) a specialist in folding cartons for cosmetics and luxury markets.
– Industrial Pack (integrated in 2022), an expert in the production of hard boxes, cartons and printed tissue papers for fashion, eyewear, chocolates, nutraceutical, parapharmaceutical, cosmetics and perfumery sectors.
– Sacchettificio Toscano (integrated in 2023), a leader in fine and tailor-made dust bags and fabric shoppers, serving major luxury fashion brands worldwide for over 40 years.
– Bartoli Packaging (integrated in 2024), a historic Tuscan company specializing in luxury rigid boxes, for high fashion, jewellery, and the luxury watch industry.
– Egisa (integrated in 2025), a European leader in the manufacturing of high-end folding cartons for the luxury sector, primarily serving the perfumery, cosmetics, wines & spirits, and fine food industries.
