Interparfums announced on Tuesday, December 3, that it will market the Off-White brand in the perfume and beauty categories starting on December 31, 2025, the expiration date of an existing license.

Founded in Milan in 2012 by the American designer Virgil Abloh, Off-White is known for its high-end streetwear influences and and approach to luxury that targets the young generations. At the end of August 2024, the label was sold by the LVMH group to US-based company Bluestar Alliance, which also owns brands such as Hurley, Scotch & Soda, Elie Tahari, Justice, Catherine Malandrino, Nanette Lepore, English Laundry, Brookstone and Joan Vas.

“The two companies will build a long-term relationship to work in unison on strategies and category launch and market initiatives,” said Interparfums in a press release.

The company specializing in licensed perfumes is interested in the disruptive artistic vision of luxury embodied by the fashion brand, with its distinct and recurring brand symbols that have become icons in the fashion world, such as crossed arrows, quotation marks and the “X” logo.

Off-White is also renowned for its dedication to social and cultural causes, supporting initiatives for diversity and inclusion in the fashion sector, particularly in the field of design.

“Off-White blends the worlds of streetwear and luxury in a spirit of talent and inventiveness. This is a tremendous opportunity for us considering the brand’s unique positioning, not to mention Virgil Abloh’s impressive creative legacy. This brand will help us explore new openings for fragrances in the luxury sector,” commented Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO of Interparfums SA.
