Travis Scott just made a very public declaration of love for his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner…despite them being very off with no immediate plans of reconciling right now. The rapper is on the cover of XXL magazine’s latest issue. In his interview with the outlet, he spoke about being a father to the two’s nearly two-year-old daughter Stormi, his feelings for her mom, and hinted at the trouble he had being in a very public relationship with Jenner.
“I’ve been spending time with my family and with my daughter, Stormi,” he started. “Being a dad is better than what I thought it would be. Stormi is one of the best human beings I know. She’s like my best friend. She makes life a little bit easier. She just inspires me and she surprises me every day with how she’s thinking. It’s so crazy. Her mom and I came up with the name Stormi together. I love her mommy and I always will. The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without a million outside voices interfering.”
Jenner has not publicly reacted to the interview yet.
Scott and Jenner spent the Christmas holiday together—but not because they’re dating again. They did it for their daughter, sources told E!.
“Regardless of what their relationship status is, there’s no doubt they will all be together for Christmas,” one source explained to the outlet. “They are a family and that hasn’t changed. It’s very important to Kylie and Travis that Stormi has both of her parents there. They are making memories with her that they hope will last forever.”
A second said that “him and Kylie are on really good terms and want to spend every occasion together as a family of three. Kylie would never shut Travis out of holidays with Stormi and she is glad that he is included…Stormi is their first priority.”
