Dakota Johnson went out in two polar-opposite red carpet looks yesterday, but it’s her first that’s a particular show stopper. The actress channeled Black Swan in a black mini dress with a faux fur skirt by Saint Laurent. Johnson wore her hair down and accessorized with black heels, sunglasses, and a mask, of course, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Johnson switched into a white silk Rodarte dress later that night for a screening of her new film The Lost Daughter:
Johnson spoke in February to Gold Derby about how weird it is to watch herself in films, especially those shot years ago.
“It’s so hard for me to be objective and it’s so hard for me to even watch the movies that I’m in and because so much times passes from when you make the film and it comes out, I’m like a completely different person and I have an entirely different life,” she said.
“It all feels like a retrospective and I’m sure that I felt completely differently making the movie than I do when I actually start to talk about it,” she added.
Johnson told Marie Claire in May 2020 that when it comes to choosing acting projects, “I really don’t have a method, and I don’t want one. It’s very intuitive and emotional.” She goes all in on her roles though: “When I work, I’m constantly thinking about the job,” she said. “It takes up so much of my brain. Not all of my projects are only good messages, but all of them have a little bit of something that makes me feel like it’s an okay thing to pour my heart into.”
