Rihanna Wears Red Leather Blazer Out in New York City

If Rihanna’s recent street style looks have proven anything, it’s that the singer and entrepreneur has solved the forever mystery of what to wear during these awkward weeks between winter and spring weather. The answer? A leather blazer, of course.

On Tuesday night, Rihanna was seen in New York City, heading into the celebrity-favorite restaurant Nobu wearing a red leather blazer with nothing underneath. She paired the jacket with distressed jeans, layered necklaces, and the most essential accessory, a black face mask that also matched her shoes.

She also wore a similar brown leather blazer the night before, when she was seen in New York City’s Meatpacking District celebrating her mom’s birthday. That night, instead of jeans, she matched her blazer to a pair of sheer Supriya Lele brown pants and studded gloves.

But Rihanna’s recent NYC escapades have consisted of more than simply going out on the town. Over the weekend, she secretly attended a #StopAsianHate rally in the city. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Rihanna joined her assistant, Tina Truong, who posted photos from the day on her Instagram, writing in the caption: “This is what solidarity looks like!” During the march, Rihanna stayed incognito and wore a gray sweatshirt, a leather bomber jacket, and leather pants. She hid her face with a black face mask and matching sunglasses and a baseball cap.
