Just days after production released a new official still of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana in Spencer, photographers captured Stewart in character again on set in Norfolk—this time wearing much more casual attire. The actress was photographed with the late princess’s signature blonde bob, wearing a very Diana street style-esque look: a cream sweater, navy and red varsity jacket, light-wash jeans, and tan boots. The Daily Mail compared it to what Diana herself wore while dropping Prince Harry off at school in April 1992:

This is the most casual Diana outfit from the film captured so far. Stewart was seen wearing a slightly more dressy casual look (accessorized with sneakers) while filming in Germany in late February.
In the new still released last week, Stewart appears in a red and green tweed blazer, wearing a replica of Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
Spencer will focus on Diana’s last Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham in 1991, before she decided to divorce Charles. The film is tentatively set to come out later this year. Stewart has been working on the project all winter, and it’s now in its final stretch of filming. Norfolk, where Stewart was photographed in the causal look, is actually near Sandringham, the Queen’s estate where the family spends Christmas.
Before Stewart began the project, the actress spoke to InStyle in October 2020 about how she prepped to play Diana. “We don’t start shooting until mid-January,” she said. “The accent is intimidating as all hell because people know that voice, and it’s so, so distinct and particular. I’m working on it now and already have my dialect coach. In terms of research, I’ve gotten through two and a half biographies, and I’m finishing all the material before I actually go make the movie. It’s one of the saddest stories to exist ever, and I don’t want to just play Diana—I want to know her implicitly. I haven’t been this excited about playing a part, by the way, in so long.”
