Colourpop Is Giving Lizzie McGuire the Second Life She Deserves

HEY NOW, HEY NOW!

The Lizzie McGuire reboot may be canceled, but the beloved Disney Channel star is resurfacing in another way. Thanks to Colourpop—purveyor of high-quality, affordable beauty and frequent Disney collaborator—Lizzie will make her return to our lives, this time in our makeup bags instead of on our television screens. The Disney Lizzie McGuire Collection is a celebration of all things the 2000s especially Lizzie McGuire. The line will launch on Friday, March 26th at 10 am pst on colourpop.com.

On Sunday night, Colourpop first teased the collab with a mysterious tweet that read, “If you know, you know. You just had to be there…Coming soon to ColourPop 👀,” and an accompanying photo with a pink Disney Channel logo and a green background. On the brand’s Instagram Stories, fans could play a 2000s-themed game of One Has to Go, where the brand listed classic 2000s era staples (platform sandals, butterfly clips, fuzzy scarves, etc). Hours later on Monday morning, Colourpop encouraged fans to play the guessing game with a few more clues.

“Grab your ankle bracelet, hair crimper, and butterfly clips! It’s time for some outfit repeating! 💖🌸🦋 Can you guess what our next collab is? 👇,” the brand wrote along with a photo of a very familiar silhouette.

While we haven’t seen swatches just yet, fans can likely expect eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses, highlighters, and blush that’ll complement their platform sandals and cropped tops or make them feel like they’re singing at IMVAs at The Colosseum. This collab is what dreams are truly made of.
