From picturesque prints to abstract buds, floral dresses are the answer to any occasion this summer. Light-hearted and practical in nature, they fit right in with the rhythm of the season, when clothes should work for you, not the other way around. Floral prints and embellishments are a must-have for spring/summer 2026 dresses.

Floral prints may seem ironic at the beginning of spring. However, just step outside in April and it becomes clear: floral motifs continue to be a must-have in the seasonal wardrobe.
On the spring-summer 2026 catwalks, floral motifs sound new. At Chanel, they acquired texture – the iconic camellia appeared in a more relaxed interpretation. Dior chose a restrained tone, rethinking the floral pattern through lace and embroidery with small pearls. At Chloé, the flowers remained as close to the classics as possible – large, as if painted with a brush, they appeared on light silhouettes that are easy to wear without much effort. At the same time, Gaurav Gupta translated the floral theme into a sculptural plane, and Lovebirds Studio – into graphic, almost abstract motifs.

How to bring this runway aesthetic into your everyday wardrobe? This summer, start with fabrics: lightweight cotton, voile, silk, which are loose and allow your skin to breathe. Then, find an accent: it could be an oversized floral motif, an interesting texture, or a print with an unexpected character. And finally, the silhouette is simple enough for the dress to do all the work, giving a feeling of lightness and confidence.
