Khloé Kardashian is quarantining during the global coronavirus pandemic, but this past week, she’s been making the rounds at Los Angeles grocery stores to pay for elderly customers’ groceries. Per TMZ, Khloé paid for several different tabs at Trader Joe’s and Ralphs stores in L.A., where elderly shoppers come to buy groceries in the early morning hours before other customers are let into the stores. She also reportedly bought store gift cards for 200 employees.
Khloé isn’t the only celebrity who’s had the idea to foot the bill for older people at grocery stores. Tyler Perry purchased groceries for thousands of seniors at 29 Winn-Dixie locations in Atlanta and Louisiana earlier this month. He did the same thing at 44 different Kroger locations as well.
Khloé’s family members have also been pitching in with COVID-19 relief efforts. Kylie Jenner donated $1 million to Los Angeles hospitals and Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, teamed up with Coty Inc. to make hand sanitizer for those on the front lines of the virus.
Meanwhile, Khloé has been focusing on life at home with her daughter, True, who turned two last Sunday, on Easter. She gave her toddler a quarantine celebration at home, and True’s dad, Tristan Thompson, also stopped by to see his daughter on her special day.
“Happy birthday my sweet TuTu!!,” she wrote on Instagram. “You are all of my unforgettable memories of the past few years, the precious magical moments of the present and the promise of a happy future,” she wrote. “You are literally my entire world! I can’t believe you are TWO!! You make my life complete and I can’t wait to have forever with you!!! Until the end of time; I love you my sweet girl.”
