Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s oldest child Luna turned four yesterday—an occasion she spent in quarantine with her parents. But her mom and dad went to great lengths to make the day special. Teigen started the day by serving Luna her first breakfast in bed. Luna said her goodbyes to being 3 then, saying it was good to her.
Luna changed into a Belle dress later in the day and celebrated with three cakes. Luna opted to eat the nail polish-adorned one from hairstylist Jen Atkin, but honestly, there was no wrong choice.
Teigen documented Luna’s day pretty thoroughly on her Instagram, from breakfast to Luna blowing out her candles:

And both Teigen and Legend shared heartfelt tributes to their little girl. “I was not prepared for a love like this,” Teigen wrote on her Twitter. “You are smart, funny, chaotic and full of love and empathy. Happy 4th birthday to my tiny queen.” On Instagram, she posted the same photo with a slightly different caption: “Happy 4th birthday to the queen of our household. I could have never prayed for a better little being.”
Legend detailed the effort that went into making Luna’s day all it could be as the family social distances during the coronavirus pandemic. “Luna’s living her best birthday life,” Legend captioned his photo of her all dressed up in her Disney princess dress. “Mommy decorated. No preschool friends were able to come, but they sent video messages and she was thrilled. Good memories for her during this strange time.”
