To the Day of Defenders of Ukraine
Functional clothing for military amputees, jewelry that recreates traces of explosions, and a campaign about the courage of female defenders — we talk about important projects that are worth paying attention to.
Decoration from KATRIA and the Association of Minesweepers of Ukraine
The “Wounded Land” pendant recreates real traces of explosions and mines, captured in a photo of a Ukrainian field. The design of the pendant was born from a real photo of Ukrainian land torn apart by explosions.
The heroine of the campaign was a sapper Tetyana Shukhnarenko, originally from Bakhmut, who, together with her husband, joined the cause of humanitarian demining in 2018.
UAH 1,000 from the sale of each piece of jewelry will be donated to the NGO “Association of Sappers of Ukraine” to help those affected by explosive devices as a result of the war. In addition to the charitable goal, the cooperation has an educational mission – it is aimed at educating the population about mine safety, debunking stereotypes, and raising awareness on the topic of humanitarian demining.
Campaign “Hanging Tokens. Mission 3.0”
Wartime artifact brand RBTNK has launched the third wave of its “Hanging Tokens” campaign. Its goal is to donate 500 steel tokens to defenders on October 1.
Anyone can “hang” a token — that is, purchase it for a random soldier. This way, you fulfill a “sensitivity mission” in the RBTNK universe.
To receive a token as a gift, a defender simply needs to visit the RBTNK page and write the word “Sensitivity” in private messages. This time, the brand will also send some of the suspended tokens to military personnel undergoing rehabilitation.
You can hang a token to congratulate a random defender on the holiday of October 1 on the official RBTNK website at the link.
“Light of the Unbreakable” — functional clothing for military amputees
Classic menswear brand YARMICH has teamed up with AZOV.ONE to implement the joint project “Light of the Unbreakable” – an initiative to create functional clothing for military personnel with amputated limbs. As part of the project, defenders can adapt the suit to their needs in YARMICH boutiques.
The first participants of the “Lights of the Unbreakable” project were Stanislav Ryzhynkov (Morty) and Pavlo (Pohom), veterans of the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the AZOV National Guard.
The main characters of the project are male amputees who demonstrate by their own example that boundaries exist only in our heads. They show that true strength lies in actions, loyalty to one's own values, constant development, and love for Ukraine.
Drop from Crumb and the “Birds” project
Сrumb, together with Tata Kepler's project “Birds” and the medical and support service of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov”, presents a limited set of two mini-creams with unisex fragrances and a branded carbine.
The silver “my daily skin care routine” with notes of sandalwood and cardamom and the black “act, then care” with a combination of narcissus and amber represent two points of support: taking care of yourself and taking care of others.
All profits from sales will go towards purchasing medicines for combat medics' first aid kits. Each cream also has a QR code that leads to a permanent donation bank.
Campaign “Women Can!” by Veteranka
The Veteranka movement launched the “Women Can!” campaign to speak louder about those whose service and courage still often remain in the shadows.
The video is dedicated to the female soldiers and sisters who fight for their place in the army and are there for others. It is a video about sisterhood that supports in the most difficult moments of war.
“Today, there are more than 70 thousand Ukrainian women in the army. They fight on equal terms, command units and companies, control drones and artillery, and evacuate the wounded from under fire. There are thousands of defenders in the ranks who prove every day that being a woman in the army means having strength, endurance, and responsibility. This means paving your own path despite stereotypes and discouragement, and not giving up, because a woman can,” the movement's team notes on social media.
Veteranka also calls on you to join the current collection for Maul evacuation capsules for the units of the Sisters of the Movement and combat medics in Cuba and Alaska.
A series of embroidered shirts with Ukrainian weapons ornaments
The Ukrainian brand “Free People” has released men's and women's shirts embroidered with stylized samples of the latest Ukrainian-made weapons: FPV drones, long-range and reconnaissance drones, as well as the Neptune cruise missile.
The image of a weapon is intertwined with a symmetrical ornament, and on the sleeves of the women's vyshyvanka there is an embroidered twig as a symbol of the connection between generations.
The shirt production has a charitable purpose: to support the defenders on the front. The campaign was participated by a serviceman of the 12th Special Forces Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard Ksenia (Herts) and a veteran of “Azov”, defender of Mariupol Dmytro Kozatsky (Orest).
