Director Jim Jarmusch won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival

The 82nd Venice Film Festival ended on the 6th of Wednesday. The award for the city – the “Golden Lion” for directing – was won by the 72-year-old American director Jim Jarmusch for the drama “Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.”

The main role is played by Dwayne Johnson, and the Ukrainian boxer and champion of the world Oleksandr Usyk plays his rival, the Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Igor Vovchanin.

“Unbreakable”

The Grand Prix at Venice went to Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Ghanie for his film “The Voice of Gindh Rajab,” which tells the story of a Palestinian girl who died in the Gaza Strip in 2024.
