He presents new initiatives for the rehabilitation of military personnel
Prince Harry has visited Kyiv at the invitation of the Ukrainian government, saying he wants to do everything he can to help thousands of servicemen who have been seriously injured in three years of a full-scale Russian invasion, The Guardian reports.
During his trip to Kyiv, Prince Harry, together with the team of the Invictus Games Foundation, plans to present new initiatives to support the rehabilitation of the wounded.
“We can’t stop the war, but we can do everything we can to help the healing process. We can continue to remind the world of the human stories of this war and what those involved in it go through. We need to keep this in the forefront of people’s minds,” Harry shared in a comment to The Guardian.
He will also visit the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II, meet with 200 veterans, and speak with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
Prince Harry was first invited to Kyiv by Olga Rudneva, the founder of the Superhumans Center. He first consulted with his wife and the British government about the trip, and then received an official invitation to the Ukrainian capital.
Recall that in April this year, Prince Harry came to Lviv to visit the Superhumans clinic, where wounded military personnel and civilians are treated and rehabilitated.
