Ludovic Pauchard appointed Industrial and Craftmanship Director of LVMH Group

The LVMH Group has announced the appointment of Ludovic Pauchard as Industrial and Craftmanship Director and Executive Chairman of Métiers d’Art, effective September 1, 2025. He will report to Stéphane Bianchi, LVMH Group Managing Director.

In his new role, Ludovic Pauchard will spearhead the Group’s industrial strategy, ensuring “operational excellence across the entire production value chain,” while upholding LVMH’s commitments regarding ethical conducts, vigilance, environmental protection and social responsibility. He will orchestrate key transformation initiatives designed to make manufacturing agility a long-term competitive asset for the Group.

As President of LVMH Métiers d’Art, he will also be tasked with securing and preserving artisanal supply chains and strategic savoir-faire specific to each sector.

Ludovic Pauchard began his career at Michelin as a Production Engineer in 1998. He joined Louis Vuitton in 2003, where he held several positions as Production Manager. In 2008, he was appointed Industrial Director for Women’s Shoes, and in 2012 became General Manager U.S. Manufacturing in California. He returned to France in 2015 as Leather Goods Production Director before being named Senior Vice President Industrial Activities in 2019. In this role, he oversees purchasing, development, supply chain, production, quality, and operational excellence for 33 leather goods workshops and 10,000 employees. Ludovic Pauchard is a graduate of École Polytechnique (X93) and ENSTA.
