The Grammys haven’t officially announced that K-pop superstars BTS are performing at the show. But Ariana Grande just nonchalantly gave everyone a heads up that it’s safe to expect the boys on stage. The singer, who has been photographed with Jungkook before, posted a photo of herself hanging with six of the seven boys on her Instagram yesterday (Suga was missing for unclear reasons, but also someone had to take the photo). The caption was a big wink, wink to all the Grammy performance theorists. “look who i bumped into at rehearsal :)” she wrote innocently. Grande is a confirmed Grammy performer.
So, who’s BTS performing with…or are they performing alone? Variety reported that multiple sources told it that the boys will be part of Lil Nas X’s performance of “Old Town Road.” RM did a remix of the song with him.
BTS won’t be the only guests to join that number: Variety’s sources said that Diplo, Mason Ramsey, and Billy Ray Cyrus would be part of it too, though neither Lil Nas X’s label or the Recording Academy confirmed this lineup.
BTS unfortunately did not receive any Grammy nominations this year, in what was considered a major snub. The boys will be performing their new song “Black Swan” on James Corden’s show on January 28. It’ll be their first live performance of the hit and one of the major reasons they’re currently in LA.
Stay tuned for our very first performance of “Black Swan”! #BlackSwan #LateLateShow @latelateshow https://t.co/CWnufbimUn

Grande’s first big moment with BTS was back in May. She shared a shot of herself and Jungkook at one of her Sweetener shows. “screaming. 🖤 thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm,” she wrote. The photo got over 6.7 million likes.
