April 7th is marked on the calendar as World Health Day . And there's a certain symbolism to this. In the midst of spring awakening and a rapid upsurge in mood, we long to transform ourselves and become even more beautiful – in both mind and body.
Health Day is a good time to reflect on your well-being, rethink your habits and evaluate their consequences, engage in preventative measures, and perhaps even radically change your lifestyle.
Health is a personal matter for each person . Only the individual, through constant and significant effort, can maintain, restore, and improve it.
A sedentary lifestyle, an abundance of feasts and get-togethers, and the trappings of a cozy and comfortable life gradually and seemingly imperceptibly rob us of our health. It takes considerable willpower, perseverance, and patience to resist these everyday, habitual weaknesses.
Now is the time to remember the key principles necessary for maintaining health, cast aside laziness, and reconsider your routine.
If you don't run while you're healthy, you'll have to when you're sick. (Horace) Physical activity boosts vitality, making us more resilient, stronger, and more beautiful. Take every opportunity to get out of your seat and keep moving! In addition to regular exercise, try to spend more time outdoors and force yourself to move.
The principle of moderation in food. “We should eat and drink only enough to restore our strength, not to depress it” (Cicero). Monitor the quality and quantity of food consumed. Dr. Amosov wrote in his book that the less food the body receives, the more efficient its metabolism. Don't overeat!
Hardening . Lower air and water temperatures create a positive stress for the body, which, by actively boosting the immune system and improving circulation, provides a large amount of energy, reducing evening fatigue and morning drowsiness.
Rest and relax, get a good night's sleep. Sleep is nature's medicine for restoring energy. But it should be in moderation! It shouldn't be neglected, nor should it be overused. Sleep before midnight is most beneficial. Everyone has their own sleep schedule, but the key is to try to stick to it.
Spiritual health is the foundation of happiness. Without health, a person cannot be happy. But not every healthy person can achieve it. And yet, it is the result of all their aspirations and efforts! Our spiritual sphere requires no less attention than our physical health.
All thoughts, desires and emotions should create harmony in the soul.
If your mood is increasingly low and you're feeling depressed and despondent, take control of your thoughts! Hold bright thoughts in your mind, even the most unlikely ones, but ones that are pleasant and bright. The materiality of thoughts is no secret: everything we think about comes true.
Changing our thinking and perception of the world is challenging at first, but entirely possible. By working on ourselves and overcoming challenges, we improve and grow, raising the bar.
Be healthy! Everything that happens in the body leaves a trace in cellular memory. Stress, trauma, chronic illnesses, and even those a person has only experienced once—all this information is stored by the body and will make itself known under certain conditions. If you get sick, don't ignore it; seek treatment promptly! By bringing down your fever and going to work sick, you're preventing your body from fighting the disease and weakening your immune system.
And remember, the body is able to serve us long and well without the use of drugs , if we do not constantly harm it.
Don't shift responsibility for your health to the medical profession. Everything is in your hands. I sincerely wish you good health and a wonderful mood!
