Sexuality, expressed in attractive appearance and smell, is actually hidden in the genetics of a person’s immune system, inherited from their parents.
A study involving nearly 150 female university students found that immune system genes “regulate” attractiveness.
Scientists believe this natural choice is well-founded: attractiveness should indicate good health. Therefore, the trait of a strong immune system is linked to the trait of physical attractiveness.
The volunteers also answered questions about their sex lives. It turned out that women with the most diverse genetic makeup (which ensures the body's resilience) were the most sexually active.
However, this problem has two sides. The current situation is explained either by the fact that men cannot resist a woman with such a combination of genes, or by the fact that this woman herself simply cannot resist any man.
So we will allow ourselves to doubt this criterion of attractiveness.
