How to stay young?

Every woman wants to maintain youth and beauty, and there are many secrets to achieving this. I'd like to share some of them.

Avoid the sun and tanning beds

Nothing ages skin more than excessive tanning! Protecting your skin from the sun will prolong your youth by at least 10 years! And you can achieve a beautiful tan with self-tanning cream – it only tints the top layers of skin and doesn't cause any damage.

Get enough sleep

You know that, right? No less than 8 hours! I know, I know how busy you are, but you love yourself, right? Regular lack of sleep not only ages your skin and stresses your nervous system, but also leads to weight gain.

Exercise moderation in eating

Don't starve yourself, but don't overeat either! Try to include more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Eat nuts regularly – they'll delay the appearance of wrinkles. But don't overdo it, as nuts are very high in calories. Don't forget about fish – it will protect your heart and blood vessels. Limit sweets and starchy foods, but don't give up your favorite pastries completely; strict restrictions will only harm you!

Watch your weight

Gaining and losing weight will negatively impact your appearance. Make sure your weight remains stable: if you notice a slight weight gain, limit your diet. Simply replacing dinner with a glass of kefir and an apple will help you lose a few extra pounds in a few days.

Drink water!

Start every morning with a glass of pure water and, throughout the day, choose water over juices and soda. Try to drink little by little, in small sips, to reduce the strain on your kidneys. And remember, not drinking enough water can cause fatigue, headaches, and intestinal problems.

Maintain peace of mind

Stress is one of the causes of premature aging, so try to keep things in perspective and avoid sweating the small stuff. Whenever possible, connect with nature—it doesn't have to be a camping trip to the woods; a simple walk in the park is also very beneficial for your nervous system.

Find yourself a partner

Love is a true elixir of youth. If you indulge in lovemaking at least twice a week, you'll look much younger! The hormone endorphin, also known as the happiness hormone, produced during this process strengthens the immune system.

Love your job

Those who work look about five years younger than their unemployed peers! Strive to fully realize your potential; this will boost your self-confidence.

Get a hobby

Embroider, dance, write poetry, bake, stargaze, travel, or draw! A favorite hobby will not only bring you emotional satisfaction but also enrich you with new knowledge, experience, and opportunities.

Be sure to remove your makeup before going to bed.

Make this a must-have nightly ritual. Buy yourself some nice makeup remover and toner and place them on your vanity along with a pretty box of cotton pads. Enjoy the self-care process!

Refresh your makeup

If you've been wearing the same makeup for years, it's time for a change. Skip the foundation – it's better to use concealer where needed, then lightly powder for a matte finish. Avoid overly bright makeup, and remember that shimmery and pearlescent eyeshadow accentuates fine lines.

Take care of your skin

Be sure to use day and night creams appropriate for your age and skin type. Day creams should contain sunscreen, especially in the summer. Use moisturizing face and neck masks at least once a week.

Go to the hairdresser

A good stylist can transform you and make you look like a true queen! But to avoid disappointment, go to a hairstylist you already know. Consult with your stylist about which hairstyle would suit your face shape, and look through magazines. However, avoid getting a haircut or perm the day before an important event—your hair needs a little time to adjust, and you need time to embrace your new look and feel confident.

Laugh more

Laughter doesn't just prolong life! It's also incredibly beneficial for the immune system, counteracting stress. People who love to laugh are less likely to get sick and feel less tired! Laughter tones facial muscles and promotes blood flow—so don't worry about wrinkles, smile! To bring more laughter into your life, read humor magazines, share jokes with friends and colleagues, watch comedies, and buy funny souvenirs as gifts.

Move!

As you age, your metabolism slows, which can lead to excess weight. Exercise can help – you don't necessarily have to go to the gym; you can simply walk more, go on hikes more often, or take the stairs instead of the elevator. If you take the bus home every day, get off a stop or two early and walk.

Hang out with nice people

Visit and spend time with friends more often – it has a very positive effect on your mental balance. You can combine business with pleasure: for example, go hiking with friends! Then you're guaranteed both physical exercise and pleasant social interaction.

Train your brain

Learn foreign languages, solve crosswords, play intellectual games – this will help you maintain a clear mind into old age.

Don't suppress your anger

It's very harmful to constantly harbor negative emotions. Of course, you shouldn't take it out on others! There's a solution: you can beat up pillows and scream to your heart's content in private. Physical exercise is also very helpful. If something is upsetting you, talk about it and occasionally argue with those you disagree with.

Quit smoking

When a woman quits smoking, her skin becomes younger! So don't put it off, quit smoking and look younger every day!

And be sure to love yourself! Pamper yourself from time to time, don't limit yourself to strict boundaries. Enjoy each new day, because there is so much good around! Treat yourself to gifts, take care of your soul and body, and you will always be young.
