A study by American scientists showed that for both men and women, satisfaction with their sex lives is directly related to their age. Men reach their peak sexual performance at age 33, while women reach their peak at age 28.
For women, intimacy becomes most intense at age 25. However, most women experience their peak sexuality at age 28. Modern girls typically lose their virginity by age 17. Men typically experience their first sexual experience at age 18. By age 29, men typically have had the greatest number of sexual encounters.
A total of 2,381 people participated in this survey. Forty percent of respondents under the age of 28 admitted that they began to truly enjoy sex relatively recently. More experienced respondents, aged 50-60, believe that the sexiest age is around 46.
The results of this study refute the findings of a previous study, which found that men reach their peak sexuality at 18 and women at 30. Furthermore, scientists have noted that today, both young women and men are losing their virginity significantly earlier than their mothers and grandmothers did.
